KUALA LUMPUR: Tickets for the showdown between the Malaysian Tigers and Singaporean Lions have been snapped up.
All 85,000 tickets were sold on Wednesday for the second leg of the Asian Zone World Cup second round qualifying match at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil to be held on Thursday.
Singapore has a 5-3 lead going into the game.
The line for the tickets started at 7am. The counters opened at 9am but all the tickets were sold out by 11am.
About 5,000 people were could not get tickets and the 60 policemen there helped disperse the disappointed crowd..
